Online escape room price: what the purchase includes

The price of €9.99 (launch price until October 31, then €12.99) gives you the complete game: every room, Marcel’s video scenes, both possible endings and the leaderboard. Buying doesn’t require creating an account: the game is attached to the email address you give at checkout, and you then log in with a link sent by email, no password needed.

You can replay the game as often as you like: with other friends, with family over the holidays, or to try the other ending. Once you know the answers, it naturally loses some of its mystery for you, but not for newcomers.

How much an online escape room costs for the whole team

Only the person who hosts the game pays. The other players scan the QR code shown on the TV and play without creating an account. With four players, that works out to under €2.50 per person for an evening of about an hour and a half. Whether it is an escape room at home with the family or a night in with friends, the price stays the same.

Try it free: the first room

The first room of every game can be played without paying and without a credit card. Try it out with your team, then decide whether to carry on.

Payment

Payment goes through Stripe: credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Before you pay, you confirm that you want to access the game right away and so waive your right of withdrawal, as the law allows for digital content. Details are in our terms of sale.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an online escape room cost?

After Hours at the Museum costs €9.99 (launch price until October 31, then €12.99). It's a one-time payment, made by the person who hosts the game. The other players join for free, and you can play the first room before buying anything.

Is an online escape room a subscription?

No. You pay for a game once; it stays tied to your email address and you can replay it as often as you like. There are no recurring charges.

Do my friends have to pay too?

No. Only the person who hosts the game needs to have bought it. The other players join with the code or the QR code, with no account and nothing to pay.

Can I try before I buy?

Yes. The first room is free to play, with your whole team. You decide afterward whether you want to continue.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, through Stripe. The site never sees your card number.

Can I get a refund?

Since the game is digital content available immediately, you give up the right of withdrawal at the time of payment, which is why the first room is free to try beforehand. If the game doesn't work as advertised, the legal guarantee of conformity applies: write to us and we'll find a solution, including a refund if the problem can't be fixed.
